Meadowood Nursing Center is a twenty-four hour health facility in gracious, park like surroundings.
Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy are aimed at helping the patient reach maximum potential and become as independent as possible. Meadowood's registered therapists and the patient's physician establish a program tailored to the needs 0f the individual.
Our Recreational Director ensures that the social needs and interests of each resident are met individually. Activities and exercises are designed with these specific needs in mind.
The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, each resident sets their own pace, and all are encouraged to participate.
Personal appearance is important to our residents; and they may schedule appointments with our beauty' consultant or barber for haircuts, styling, manicures right in our own beauty salon.
Traditional religious services for all faiths are held regularly. Volunteers from local churches conduct Bible classes, visit residents individually, and lead spiritual music programs.
The Registered Dietitian on our staff expertly considers specific diets, personal preferences and above all nutritional values to create menus that provide a wide variety of distinctive meals, tastefully prepared and served In two pleasant and, attractively decorated dining rooms.
